Training and Project Manager

You choose to do the right thing. + A person who takes pride in their work and has a willingness to learn and improve (no matter how experienced, smart, or successful you are). + Someone with a desire to be part of a team and who enjoys being on a winning team. + A positive attitude and willingness to work with a team. + Great communication with co-workers and supervisors. + Professionalism: You understand that your mind needs to be sharp to do your best work and keep those around you safe and you understand we are a drug-free workplace JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS: Duties/Responsibilities: Training: + Responsible in the training of technicians + Owns responsibility for the first two weeks of training for all newly-hired technicians + Acting Ops Manager for the first two weeks for all newly-hired technicians + Reviews and updates existing training programs; suggests enhancements and modificat ions to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of operations, the organization, or the industry. + Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective. + Ensures that training milestones and goals are met for all new hires Safety: + Develop, update, and execute safety trainings (Lessonly, slide presentations, in-person trainings, etc.) + Conduct safety toolbox meetings + Report on technician adherence to safety training participation and completion + Report on technician adherence to safety protocols + Conduct and assist on safety audits (on site, truck- or equipment-related, PPE, etc.) + Assist Senior Safety Manager; Act as Deputy Safety Officer + Assist in JHA creation; understand and train JHA protocols + Act as OSHA Responsible Person on job sites + Maintain and update appropriate OSHA- and safety-related knowledge and certifications Project Support: + QSIs + Assist with project management + Collaborate on pre-project planning, scheduling, etc. + Peak load capacity support/ high-touch callbacks + Execute test sections to ensure proper procedure and chemical usage Required Skills/Abilities: + Authorization to drive SOR vehicles + A valid driver's license and at least 3 years of driving experience with a good driving record + At least two years of related experience + Highly motivated and self-driven + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Engaged and committed to the job + Responsive to inquiries and requests + Proactively communicates relevant information + Possesses a proactive "can-do" attitude + Willingness to learn and be coached + Strong problem-solving abilities Preferred Skills/Abilities: + Leadership and management skills + Soft skills + Sufficient computer knowledge to work daily in gmail, excel, Lessonly, ServiceTrade, etc. Physical Requirements: + Must be able to lift and pull 75 lb loads (two 5-gallon buckets of stain, pull 100 feet of hose, etc.) + Must be able to lift pressure washing wands and hold above head for at least 6 hours per shift + Must be able to read, understand, and follow English language safety instructions and training, including OSHA and chemical SDS information + Must be able to walk, stand, squat, climb, and execute safety protocols This role is 100% in-person, in-office (North Raleigh, 27615). We provide a company-owned vehicle (with allowable personal use) company-owned macbook air and either a company-owned iphone or a reimbursement if you bring your own phone.
