Additional Requirements

Minnesota RN with a minimum of two (2) years of licensed nursing experience in the US as evidenced by screen shot from Minnesota Board of Nursing website.At least one (1) year in the provision of long-term care facility services in the US as evidenced by licensed nursing experience on resume. Exampled of long-term care facility services are employment in a nursing home or assisted living facility. Home health experience providing care in private homes only is not included. 

Overview

The Training Instructor is responsible for implementing the Nursing Assistants Training program in collaboration with the Training Director.

Responsibilities

Assists with maintaining accurate records of student schedules, rosters, performance records and competency testing. Supervises and guides students during classroom instruction and the clinical process.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required

Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), in good standing.Completion of the Train the Trainer course, or ability to successfully complete this course within 90 days of employment.Prior nursing experience in a long-term care setting.CPR certified.

Qualifications Preferred

Experience as an instructor.
