Position Summary:
The Training Coordinator is responsible for helping to improve the productivity of the organization's employees in accordance with established SOPs. The primary duty of the Training Coordinator is to perform a wide variety of training activities in various functional areas that may consist of facilitation, MHE Driver Certification, maintaining various training trackers, training organization and scheduling, training new trainers, and assisting in path as needed across all of the departments in the operation. This position requires training and administrative experience with a basic understanding of adult education best practices.
Essential Functions of Job:Plans, organizes, and effectively conducts employee training on various functional skill areasMaintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industryIdentifies problems and opportunities such as operational changes that training could improveConducts or facilitates required and recommended training sessionsFacilitate applicable portions of New Hire OrientationMaintains records of successful completion of trainingAssist in creating an annual Training CalendarLead MHE training and recertification, as well as other safety trainingsEvaluate performance of current trainersConduct training audits to evaluate training efficacyPerform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to work flexible hoursAbility to effectively give and receive feedback in a professional and respectful manner Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation abilitiesExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong administrative and data management skillsExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines with limited supervisionStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and to work independentlyAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityWillingness operate MHE and become MHE certifiedProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to operate basic office and audiovisual equipment
Working Conditions:Moderate but varying temperature and humidity in office and warehouse environmentsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to stand, sit, squat, lift and /or walk for the duration of the scheduled shiftMust be able to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to operate MHE
Minimum Qualifications:1 year of applicable training experience

The starting base pay is $20.00 - $21.40/hr. Certain work schedules may also be eligible for Shift Differential pay.
