Under the direction of the Director Learning and Organizational Development coordinates all mandatory, online learning for the hospital. In collaboration with IT, assists other departments to create and upload learning content to ensure it is Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) compliant and interoperable with the Learning Management System (LMS). Serves as the primary LMS Administrator, working directly with the departments, and the vendor to ensure learning content is appropriate and streamlined while meeting regulatory requirements. Generates LMS reports and transcripts. Works with the departments to provide mandatory training in the classroom for departments without computer access or employees with low computer literacy. Assists with other Learning & OD special projects as needed.

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s Degree required and two (2) or more years of relevant healthcare, and training/LMS coordination experience required. Knowledge of current healthcare laws and regulations preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Excel) is required. Ability to assist in the preparation of work plans and reports with strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate orally and in writing sufficiently to express thoughts and ideas to a variety of people. Outstanding human relations and leadership skills, and the ability to function in a team environment required. Additional related experience, preferably in healthcare and training coordination or be substituted for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
