**94930BR** **Job Title:** Training Coordinator - Decatur, IL **Department/Function:** Operations: Manufacturing, Production, Maintenance, Utilities **Job Description:** **Training Coordinator – West Plant- Decatur, IL** This is an exempt level position. **Job Summary:** Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role is responsible for developing and coordinating learning and development at ADM’s West Plant. The training coordinator will develop, manage and coordinate the training of hourly and salaried colleagues. The role tracks governmental and company standards, as well as plant training programs. The training Coordinator will provide, daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly scheduling of trainings, as well as supporting departments with updated Standard Operating Procedures. **Job Functions:** + Develop and implement the site training programs. + Provide and update training material for shift personnel; initial shift training, continuous training and required PSM training. + Track operational training for all West Plant. + Provide proficiency training requirements for maintenance personnel. + Track operational training for all crush, Bio and load out personnel. + Provide proficiency audits and recommendations for future training to superintendents. + Provide classroom training as required for all site personnel. + Provide feedback, mentorship, and support to the facility through the use of Performance Excellence concepts and tools + Interacts directly with shift supervision and superintendents to schedule training activities. + Supports Quality and the Food Safety Management System and possibly as member of that team + Maintain a high degree of availability to a 24/7 operation. + Update standard operating procedures, including MOC requirements and operator training requirements. + Display a commitment to lead, participate in, and support ongoing safety engagement. + Serve as a trusted resource for plant and department leaders using PE methods for continuous improvement and sustained results. **Job Requirements:** + Concern for Quality + Strong Dedication to Safety + Proven leadership + Demonstrated problem solving skills + Strong ability to train people. + Good written and verbal communication skills + Ability to lead personnel and work closely with corporate departments + Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint **Education/Training:** + Minimum of a high school diploma/GED **Experience:** + Experience with Performance Excellence, Total Process Management, Continuous Colleague Development, A2E(Ability to Execute) or similar continuous improvement systems is a plus + Practical and/or educational experience with developing and delivering training + Prior industrial experience preferred + Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred. **Working Conditions:** + Able to work in a variety of environmental conditions, such as hot and cold temperatures and a dusty or wet environment & various chemicals safely. **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to ascend and descend stairs + Ability to move/transport 55 pounds + Sit and stand for long periods + Work in confined spaces + Work at heights + Bending and kneeling + Be respirator qualified Excited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
