In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering comprehensive training programs, including Employment Services Orientation and specialized training as identified by leadership. Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and deliver Employment Services Orientation training for identified leaders, including ES/Chafee Basic Training and Service Delivery for the Vocational Professional.
• Develop and implement the 30 Days On-the-Job Training Form for new associates.
• Research and identify supplemental training through Relias to enhance the skill set of associates.
• Update training manuals and modules as needed to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with ES leadership across the state to ensure consistency in training and develop new training programs as required.
• Provide CPR & First Aid training as needed and coordinate all required training sessions.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a Human Services field or equivalent experience.
• CPR/FA/AED Training Instructor certificate required.
• Five years of experience in the field of intellectual/developmental disabilities or training development.
Additional Qualifications:
• Must have knowledge of the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and Missouri Department of Mental Health.
• Must be physically able to perform CPR (as instructed in the CPR manual) and First Aid.
• Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Must have appropriate, reliable transportation, proof of insurance, and a valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements:
• Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
• Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.
• Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
