Training Delivery Specialist

Latin American country operations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. About the role The Training Delivery Specialist is responsible for implementing and facilitating onsite and virtual training. Responsible for determining training needs and acting as a resource for employees. This position will deliver multi-functional courses to drive a customer-focused, experience-driven learning culture across GM Financial International Operations (GMF IO). This position will contribute to the standardization and alignment of the GMF IO vision to deliver better customer experiences by equipping employees, through an integrated approach, with operational knowledge and delivering ongoing learning experiences. What you need Bachelor’s degree (minimum). Learning Development, Education (preferred) Classroom and/or webinar facilitation: 3 – 5 years Software/systems: MS Office, SharePoint, Oracle LMS, Microsoft Teams for Training, Power BI Bilingual (English, and Spanish, and/or Portuguese) Experience and exposure to ADDIE, Instructional Systems Design, Adult Learning Principles, and Learning Styles such as: Training Delivery/Facilitation Classroom Webinar Evaluation and measurement Kirkpatrick evaluation model (Level 1 – 4) Candidate must have: Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills; ability to communicate to individuals and groups, including consultative, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills Excellent organizational skills and ability to create and maintain work relationships. Demonstrated interpersonal skills to communicate with project teams and stakeholders effectively Strong training capabilities Strong time management skills with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines Strong analytic, reporting, and problem-solving skill set Candidate may have: Experience in the Financial Services industry and operational-related positions Proven experience working with multi-functional, multi-cultural, different countries, and/or decentralized teams Strong project management skill set with the ability to manage multiple resources, timelines, milestones, and objectives What you will be doing Provide quality learner experiences by demonstrating excellent facilitation/training skills in the classroom, through webinars, and in the learner’s workplace. Collaborate as part of a team of local and remote trainers. Work with interdisciplinary teams that include employees, management, SMEs, and other stakeholders to support IO operations and: Gather training requests and needs due to performance gaps. Identify audience traits that may impact learning solutions or guide solution delivery. Evaluate courses to recommend the best one for the needs of the employees/area. Analyze training evaluation activities to measure course/program effectiveness (up to and including business impact) Identify opportunities for improving courses or programs through data analytics and reporting Utilize sound adult learning methodologies to deliver courses for key functional areas, roles, and initiatives to support GMF IO operations. (On-going skills development, systems, products, customer service, etc.) Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in training Work with the logistics coordinator to book rooms, print materials, order catering, etc., to ensure flawless training courses and program delivery. Participate in the overall design and delivery process as required. Maintain strict confidentiality of all information. Travel may be required. (
