Training Development Partner - F&B (Bellagio)

THE JOB:

It is the responsibility of the Training Manager of Food & Beverage at the Bellagio to oversee and develop all training programs related to Food & Beverage Operations. Plan, schedule and implement programs as dictated by Food & Beverage needs in relation to the overall operational strategies.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Support the Food & Beverage Team in all aspects of training.Develop and standardize programs targeting specific employee populations across different venue styles for both hourly and management employees.Coordinate and facilitate onboarding of new management employees.Assist with scheduling and facilitating as well as check-ins during the first 120 days and subsequent as needed.Identify and prioritize areas based on guest experience feedback from property-wide and internal service quality programs.Develop targeted secret shopping and observation check-ins where necessary.Standardize, update, refresh and upkeep of all printed and digitized training materials.Fulfil the point-of-contact role for Food & Beverage IT systems, coordinating with 3rd Party representatives to ensure the most updated information is disseminated to management relating to these programs.  Support and standardize deliverables for special Food & Beverage programming, including pre-event planning and recaps.Oversee ongoing evaluation and check-ins with all venues who participate with the Forbes Travel Guide.Serve as liaison with Property HR and MGMRI CoE for all compliance and mandatory training needs for the Food & Beverage Division.Work closely with Food & Beverage Safety Manager in support of ServSafe, SNHD, Safety and injury reporting.Continually evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to ensure quality and consistency.Assist with identifying areas of opportunity through turnover reporting and employee engagement metrics.Support internal messaging efforts for all Food & Beverage initiatives, including creation of decks and reporting.Immerse in pre and post opening training for all new venues.Author and upkeep brand books standardizing Service, CGS, OSE and brand expectations.Maintain confidentiality of department affairs.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in Food and Beverage.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business or related field or equivalent work.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:

3+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager, General Manager, or Director of Food and Beverage.Experience working in a hotel/casino or restaurant.Experience in a Senior Training role.Ability to create a training plan and express themselves visually.
