The team
The Global Learning & Development, part of Hitachi Digital’s Talent Enablement function, plays a crucial role in the growth and development of leaders, managers and employees at Hitachi Digital Services and Hitachi Vantara, as well as our own organization.
Our small, collaborative and diverse team is located in multiple locations around the world to ensure we deliver virtual raining on professional development skills at a time of day that works for all our employees, regardless of location. As well as course delivery, many of our team members also develop course content and provide local support to employees in utilizing our learning platforms.
The role
With your strong background in training delivery, you’ll be adept at organizing, facilitating and producing virtual live training courses to employees in South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. The courses you will deliver are from our globally consistent curriculum on a range of topics including communication and customer service skills, as well as training from our 12-part People Manager program. You may also collaborate with others in the team on design and development of learning programs and producer guides as needed.
A natural communicator, you will actively promote the use of self-paced learning content from our on-demand learning platforms, as well as use of our internal SharePoint site for L&D information and guidance.
Your deep sense of customer service ensures you will respond to inquiries from local employees/learners, and work with HR to provide guidance on potential solutions for development needs.
What you’ll bring
Training facilitation excellence, with at least 5-7 years’ experience, leading learning events for all levels, from entry to executive level. Experience of delivering soft skills training/facilitation for people managers. Familiar with use of digital tools for delivery of interactive virtual training, ideally MS Teams Creative approaches for engaging participants in interactive activities Working with people from different cultures Knowledge of training methodologies and instructional design experience preferred that relates to designing and developing courses for live in-person or virtually delivered training. Flexibility with the time of day you work to accommodate being part of a global team Proficiency in use of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams Education – university degree in education, psychology or similar subject preferred.
