We are seeking a visionary and decisive Director of Training to join our team. As the Director of Training, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of our organization's training and development initiatives. This key leadership role will drive the strategic direction of our learning programs, ensuring they align with our business objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Job DescriptionDevelop and implement comprehensive training strategies that support organizational goals and enhance employee performanceLead and mentor a team of training professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative learning environmentDesign, evaluate, and continuously improve training curricula and programs for various departments and skill levelsCollaborate with senior leadership to identify training needs and develop solutions that address skill gaps and support business growthOversee the creation and maintenance of training materials, including e-learning content, instructor-led programs, and blended learning approachesManage the training budget, allocate resources effectively, and evaluate the return on investment of training initiativesImplement and optimize the use of learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologiesEstablish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of training programsStay current with industry trends and best practices in corporate training and developmentEnsure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in training delivery and content

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred8+ years of experience in training and development, with at least 5 years in a leadership roleProven track record in designing and implementing successful training programs in a corporate environmentStrong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teamsExpertise in curriculum development, instructional design, and adult learning principlesProficiency in e-learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and emerging training technologiesExcellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-makingOutstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiencesStrategic thinker with the ability to align training initiatives with organizational goalsExperience in budgeting, resource allocation, and demonstrating ROI for training programsKnowledge of performance evaluation methodologies and their application in training contextsProfessional certifications such as ATD Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or similar are highly desirable
