ITS is a full-service provider of information technology services. ITS provides DSS with centralized network services that will encompass, but will not be limited to, systems development / design, security analysis, information processing, telecommunications and data center support services, data communications infrastructure, platform hosting, an e-mail system, internet and intranet access data security and exchange, desktop/client support, help desk, project management, applications development and quality assurance.
Constant increased need for the provision of full systems life cycle applications development on various computer platforms, including a variety of client eligibility and recertification systems, employment/work engagement services, claims systems, etc., that are critical to the operation and functioning of DSS programs, requiring periodic refinements to maintain the applications at optimum service levels. Having a project portfolio which properly reflects the user’s business needs and DSS’ workload is crucial. Therefore, there is a need for IT consulting resources for the expanding responsibilities at DSS.

Tasks & Duties Develop system design and documentation Create storyboards taking into account user stories, screen wireframes, and pre-application release code. Development of videos for DHS, HRA, and Provider Staff that document new and enhanced functionality and process flows Enhance AI voice to ensure clarity. Format and export video files for various platforms and purposes (e.g., web, social media, broadcast). Ensure videos are optimized for different devices and screen sizes. Render project files for hosting on Agency’s learning management system. Build Curriculum tree for 25 plus courses that will be comprised of various videos. Verify usability and performance.
Required Skills Minimum 4 Years Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders and business concepts to the IT workforce. Minimum 4 Years Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Captivate, Camtasia, Final Cut Pro, and Articulate Storyline 360. Minimum 4 Years Hands-on experience with motion graphics and animation tools, including Adobe After Effects, Maxon Cinema 4D Lite. Minimum 4 Years Ability to develop prototypes and pilot presentations using editing tools like Frame.io and Logic Pro X. Publish and host video e-learning content on NYC Learning Management Systems for agency staff. Minimum 4 Years Experienced in editing functions, such as importing media, cutting, trimming, and rearranging clips on timeline, and syncing audio tracks.
