TRAINING INSTRUCTOR (BRIDGE)

Summary You will serve as a TRAINING INSTRUCTOR at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF). This position will serve in a bridge program designed to give employees an opportunity to gain competencies necessary to qualify for a GS-1712 position. If selected, you will be placed in the position Not to Exceed One Year. Responsibilities You will develop, revise, and adapt assigned courses under close supervision. You will learn to develop facilities, training devices, and evaluation tools. You will prepare lesson plans and training materials based on course objectives under close supervision. You will develop necessary training aids and determine time schedules and sequences of instruction. You will encourage class attendance, participation, and proper conduct. You will be responsible for the improvement and modification of training for assigned courses under close supervision. You will maintain training records and develop training reports under the guidance of the supervisor or lead instructor. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications You are eligible for this training opportunity if you have journey level trades experience in one of the following series: ALL JOURNEY AND HIGHER-LEVEL 5803 SERIES EMPLOYEES.
