What You’ll Get to Do:

Work collaboratively with various departments, staff members, and subject matter experts to:

Develop training materials using blended training approach

Develop and modify training materials, including online training modules, demonstrations, simulations, job aids, audio and video scripts, and storyboards.

Deliver/present training content in person and online.

More About the Role:

You will take a key role in executing financial management systems, policy, and procedure training programs.  Additional duties include recommending and developing training methods for target audiences, using advanced training content development tools (such as Adobe Captivate, SharePoint, Webex, and video teleconference, VTC, technologies), and supporting training logistics tasks.  You will develop and maintain system documentation and guidance to address financial management system issues, process changes, and upgrades.

You also may help develop user-training materials, update the user desk reference guides, and participate in other business operational activities.  You must be a flexible team player and have the capacity to learn and support a wide range of financial and travel management policies, procedures, and system functionality.  And finally, you also must be able to articulate, be passionate about training users, and be an enthusiastic self-starter. 

You may be asked to travel occasionally, when travel is allowed again.  And you may be asked to participate in online evening training sessions on rare occasions.

You’ll Bring these Qualifications:

BA/BS or equivalent and 8 years in the industry, of which 4 directly relate to the required area of expertise

Experience in classroom-oriented and online training (e.g., Webex and Adobe Captivate)

Proficiency in Adobe Captivate, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite

Superior interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the capacity to communicate with tact and professionalism

Strong multi-tasking skills with a comfort in maintaining multiple priorities

Ability to analyze problems, develop a path toward problem solving, and continue the process to completion

Effective planning and organizational skills, and ability to be flexible in a rapidly changing environment

Creativity, and the ability to think outside the box

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Financial Management knowledge is a plus.

Experience in system or training material documentation.

Experience with Adobe Captivate

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$77,200 - $162,200
