**Job Purpose/Overview:**
This role will develop Associate capability by leading the deployment of the Education & Training Pillar at the site. They will oversee all responsibilities associated with the pillar such as developing training, coaching Associates on E&T standards, meeting cadence, health checks, 90-day plan, 1 year implementation plan, charter, KPI’s and recognition. They will raise and sustain plant performance in line with Mars Supply Excellence and the site’s Compelling Business Need (CBN).
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Factory Capability Framework:**
+ Facilitate the role profiling methodology to build clear inventories of responsibilities and required skills and knowledge to identify gaps and then use to build training course and curriculum.
+ Develop Step up Cards based on the role profile methodology.
+ Maintain the factory skills matrices, ensuring this is kept up to date with the outputs of Associate validation.
+ Facilitate the Factory Skills Gap Assessment Process to develop a prioritized annual plan for training activity.
**Knowledge Capture:**
+ Ensure appropriate knowledge management methodologies are applied to maintain, share and update recorded knowledge within the site’s information structure.
+ Facilitate the Training design and development methodology with support from the Subject Matter Experts (i.e., Operations, Safety, QF&S, etc.).
+ Training & Coaching on all E&T processes, systems, and tools.
**Knowledge Transfer**
+ Establish train the trainer programs and On the Job Trainers at the site.
+ Facilitate the Administration of Training processes which includes proper storage of training, OPLs, Standard Work, Role Profiles, Skills Matrices, and Step-up Cards. Also includes updating and monitoring site training calendar and updating training courses.
+ Provide leadership, objectives, feedback, and performance coaching to all associates involved in site education and training programs, especially on the job trainers and expert trainers.
+ Accountable for integrity and deployment consistency & accuracy of site course and appropriate validation tools to confirm Associate capability.
+ Create and support framework to ensure successful onboarding for new associates according to standard.
**Additional Training Responsibilities**
+ Identify the necessary resources to provide training.
+ Coordinate with HR & Department Managers to update training manuals, SWI and SOPs based on equipment upgrades and/or other change management processes and integrate into the annual training plan.

+ Determining Site resource allocation based on sites losses identified through Focused Improvement Pillar loss analysis and/or opportunities identified from skills gap analysis.
+ Assist site leadership in decision making in associate performance through appropriate Step-Up Card Assessment and other validation approaches.
+ This position will operate within the guidelines, processes, procedures, tools, and systems provided by the E&T pillar
+ The job will operate within Safety, Quality, GMP, and LOTO Policies and Guidelines.

**Job Specifications/Qualifications**
Education & Professional Qualifications:
+ 2 years’ experience in manufacturing role AND/OR
+ 2-year degree technical or associates degree with demonstrated communication and facilitation skills
Knowledge / Experience
+ Skill to learn and utilize digital technology to enhance training programs (i.e., Video Editing, Redzone etc.)
+ Superior written and oral communication skills.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and interact with various functional groups.
+ Ability to work independently, be a self-starter and be able to co-ordinate several projects at one time.
+ Use company software to interact with management, maintenance, and quality services.
+ Ability to facilitate group meetings.
+ Computer skills for developing, presenting, and updating training materials.
+ Produce training videos including splicing and editing.
+ Knowledge/Experience are acquired through OJT, specialized classes, and passed knowledge.
