**Core** **Responsibilities**
In this position as Training Manager, you will have two main responsibilities:
**People Leadership:**
+ Lead, support and motivate hourly colleagues in the Moulding Academy & Education team in Billund
+ Manage HR processes (1:1 dialogues, People Review Process, PMP Bonus, Employee Changes, People Development Plan, Champ, etc.)
**Training & Capability Building (Local & Global):**
+ Lead and develop the people within the training organization based on the philosophy and framework about Leaning Principals from the LEGO Continuous Improvement (LCI) department
+ Support continuous improvement of the training organization
+ Be a training methodology expert and ensure high quality in training deliveries securing the effectiveness and stability of the training organization
+ Actively support departments in achieving the desired level of training/workforce flexibility
+ Collaborate closely with the Technical Writer, HR and LCI to ensure world-class standard of process documentation in the area
+ Build strong global relationships with colleagues from other manufacturing sites, while actively promoting coherence, collaboration and communication between the plants and departments
+ Drive handover (“train the trainer”) of global strategic initiatives piloted on production sites and secure local training is aligned with global standards, methodologies and documentation
+ Be an ambassador of the global alignment of processes and training documentation
+ Deploy necessary infrastructure to reach the goals of the training organisation (processes, KPIs, visual management etc.)
+ Analyze training needs coming from strategic initiatives, Business Plan and Must-Win-Battles into training capacity needs
+ Join the Moulding Process Engineering & Education Leadership Team representing the training organisation and the training needs
**Play your part in our team succeeding**
You will join the Moulding Academy & Education (MA&E) team managing the training needs and securing training of the global manufacturing platform. In the team, we work to develop the needed functional expertise through a strong and competent training organization to support globalization, scalability and sustainability of new and existing employees.
The Training Manager leads and develops the functional expertise in the training organization. The main purpose is to secure implementation of local and global strategic initiatives through training and standardization to support running operations and to enable further growth.
**Do you have what it takes?**
The ideal candidate comes preferably with a technical background as toolmaker, plastic maker, automation technician, industrial technician or equivalent roles from a global manufacturing company. In addition, you have:
+ 2+ years of formal or informal leadership experience with a focus on emotional intelligence, empathy and motivation
+ Excellent training know-how and experience working with capability building, training activities, learning programs, etc.
+ Strong Project Management skills with proven examples to share
+ Great communication, collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities building strong networks and relationships with colleagues across organizational levels
+ Proficiency in Danish and English both written and verbal
+ Ability to work daily in Billund
+ Willingness to travel occasionally to our production sites and securing onboarding of global colleagues in Billund
Furthermore, it will be an advantage, if you bring:
+ Knowledge about Job Instruction Method (JI) from TWI Institute
+ Knowledge about learning principals
+ Strong LEAN toolbox (5S, PPS, etc.) with proven examples
