Training Manager
Summary The Training Manager is primarily responsible for the delivery of curriculum using lesson plans to instruct personnel in specialized training relating to specific aspects of the NASA Protective Services/Security Training Program, in addition to providing duties of Armorer on site. Responsibilities Security Police Protection Force Development Officer shall provide to NASA Contractors and Civil Servants additional security, safety, and related law enforcement courses as directed by the AFRC NPSTA Training Manager or NHQ Annex COR. Read, speak, understand, and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials in English. Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays. Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma; degree preferred. 5 years law enforcement training (or Range Master) experience or ten years of civilian/law enforcement or two years of providing SPO training. Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license. Have no record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture. Must be able to meet and maintain NASA Certifications.
