Training Manager Overview: Oversees the day-to-day functions of the Training department which includes the classroom, behind the wheel and cadet trainers. Ensures all new drivers and staff receive required MTA and Transdev regulated training. Salary range is $85,000 - $90,000. Major Responsibilities: The Training Manager shall plan, assess, and evaluate the Contractor’s training program.Manage the performance of the Contractor’s training to ensure the effective and responsive delivery of services to managers and other employees.Design, develop, implement, and evaluate technical operations training for all levels of Contractor(s) staff to support their competency in areas that are critical to the organization and to equip staff with the required skills to achieve the MDOT MTA’s quality and customer service goals.The Training Manager shall provide broad scope review, analysis, and assessment of Mobility policies, procedures, programs, and organization structure and alignment in terms of effectiveness, quality of service, and best practices.Assess and identify opportunities to improve current training programs and shall develop and implement an effective tracking system for training and delivery completion.Development and implementation of the Contractor’s training plan. Development and maintenance of Employee training records.Ensuring that all employee training and qualifications are kept currentRequirements: The Training Manager shall possess a bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, or a similar discipline.
