Training Manager - Distribution
**Job Description:** TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. has an opening in its Anderson/Wellford locations for a **Training Manager - Distribution** who is responsible for supervising the distribution trainers, scheduling, assignment, mentoring, and creation of training materials as it relates to the daily distribution activities within assigned area(s) of a distribution facility. Functional responsibility for one large or multiple site functions. We offer competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package -- tuition assistance, 401(k), medical/dental/vision coverage, Paid Time Off (PTO), and holidays. **Primary Responsibilities** + Design and conduct training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance within logistics, distribution, and warehouse. + Design, plan, organize, or direct orientation and training programs for employees, both full-time and contract. + Ensure all required training is completed promptly for new hires and/or any additional training process that may be introduced into the departments. + Provide leadership and motivation to trainers. Communicate effectively with trainers and associates and create an open communication style that fosters a collaborative work environment. + Recruit, train, and develop trainers. Short-term coverage planning for staffing requirements and resource allocations. + Offer specific training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skills. + Present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures. + Obtain, organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials. + Conduct trainer performance reviews, ongoing performance discussions, and salary review recommendations. Monitor and record performance and accuracy for the training program. + Strive for continual improvement in departmental processes and functions. + Assist management in problem-solving and coordinating projects. + Administer safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance. Communicate and administer policies and procedures in assigned areas. + Ensures that the physical condition of the warehouse is conducive to a healthy and safe working environment. + The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all-encompassing. Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned, as necessary. **Minimum Requirements:** + Four (4) year degree preferred and/or equivalent in training, safety, and operational functions. + Minimum of three (3) years of experience in training, safety, and operations functions. + Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. + Knowledge of OSHA regulations. + Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. + Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. **Physical Requirements:** + Standing and walking for extended periods. + Repetitive motion, hand/wrist work, power grasping with hands, fine finger movements. + Able to work in various temperature conditions.
