Training & Product Specialist

Responsibilities :

General

Promote company’s products to optical retail practices and other eye care professionals to achieve maximum sales revenue & volume with strategies and plans.Develop & coordinate internal and external product education programs with sales & marketing, and Operations teams.Develop & maintain customer relationships for business development Initiate discussion to formulate and execute promotion and advertising campaign to drive sales.

Product Training

Develop, design, deliver & coordinate various internal and external training programs to meet sales & business development strategies.Develop, maintain and update training materials (manuals, guides & course materials) with attendance records.Support course implementation for ad-hoc projects in different formats (onsite, classroom, digital, e-learning, etc)Identify key training focus & evaluate and review the training programs for optimum impact and effect.Provide technical support, handle product inquires and perform demonstration.Attend meetings or seminars to obtain information for use in training programs. 

Product Development

Assist Manager and work as a team to execute product plans & strategies to achieve maximum sales revenue & volume, and profit.To analyze potential product details, product performance data to help product planning.Assist in publication, master data maintenance & catalog preparation Support in localization of B2B and B2C product & technical marketing content and materials.Collect market insights and conduct market research (e.g. comprehensive product analysis & pricing comparison with competitors) to establish clear price-positioning strategies in the market.

Administrative Works

Provide regular product sales & training reports to management.Documentation of all event attendance, feedback, and customer communication.Monitor, evaluate, and record training activities and their effectiveness. Maintain product knowledge on ZEISS and competitors’ new and existing products.Other duties as required, assigned, or necessary.

Secondary Education or aboveDiploma in Ophthalmic Dispensing or Bachelor in Optometry will be a bonus3 years experience in optical retail industryExperience in working in a regional environment would be a bonus Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills Good analytical skillsProficient in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.Familiar with MS Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint for executive presentations and project management)Good cooperation & teamwork, loyalty, reliabilityProactive, can-do attitude, able to work under pressureOccasionally travel as required
