Job Description
The Training Specialist conducts our onboarding curriculum with all new hires at our plant and helps create training programs by collaborating with cross function teams, applying knowledge, and following course outlines. You will report to the Continuous Improvement Manager and work onsite in Cleveland, OH.
Main Responsibilities:
Collaborate with HR and Recruiting to enhance new hire experience by preparing learning materials, emailing hires before their first day to set expectations, and leading the onboarding experience by following the curriculum that reviews plant safety, procedures, and guidelines. Work with different teams to determine training gaps and roll out training strategies, projects, and job aid/support materials across all levels of the plant that align with organizational goalsEvaluate training effectiveness through metrics and feedback, adjusting programs Distribute, migrate, and manage course issuance and completion through the Workday Evolve LMSSet up new processes and map process flows through a manufacturing shopTravel for learning and development improvement (approximately 10%)Maintain a training matrix based on progressions through our qualified based pay model
