How You’ll Add Value

The Training Specialist is responsible for the creation/editing of technical Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, Work Instructions and training modules.

What You’ll Do

Responsible for the technical training program, which includes but is not limited to:Creation of competency-based training curriculum.Implementation of policies and procedures via documentation software.Facilitating training classes.Tracking individual training to align with company needs and personal development.Provide leadership of multidisciplinary teams toward a common objective.Develops the training strategy based on input from subject matter experts and ensure training is executed in a timely manner with supporting documentation.Create actionable strategies that ensure the smooth and timely start-up, integration, and quality execution of training projects.Propose recommendations and solutions that increase the likelihood of consistent operational success.Develop appropriate best practices resulting in standardized and streamlined global processes and efficient use of resources.Work closely with technical management to develop strategic initiatives that focus on competency and development of technical staff.Design training strategies/methodologies and curriculum to ensure effective implementation of corrective actions.May require up to 50% travel.

University degree (Bachelor) or equivalent experience1 year min. instructional writing experience1 year min. experience conducting instructor led trainingFluent in English (verbal and written)Excellent computer skills includingInternet for researchDocument creationMS Word, Excel, OutlookCritical Thinking / Investigative MindsetStrong orientation to detailGood working relations and communications with colleagues and customersDemonstrated high level of initiative and ability to work independentlyAbility to organize, prioritize, and manage long term projectsAbility to initiate and complete tasks
