Summary You will serve as a Training Specialist in the Training Office of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS. Responsibilities You will assess and execute NAVOCEANO training program requirements, as well as supporting training execution of other commands supported. You will recognize and organize training needs, requesting and evaluating vendor quotes, acquisition and budgetary execution of command training funds for multiple commands. You will interpret higher level directives and local guidance in the acquisition and execution of training in support of mission objectives. You will provide advice to employees, supervisors, and managers on basic program policies, regulatory requirements and procedures. You will conduct training needs assessments as required and translates objectives, needs and requirements into training priorities through consultation with management. You will evaluate training programs to determine quality and overall effectiveness of each training program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Applicant's resume must demonstrate the following specialized experience: Experience communicating both oral and written ensuring clarity and precision in all interactions. Experience developing, planning and evaluating training requirements to meet organizational goals. Experience using the SF-182 for training requests and processing, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Experience working Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, utilizing these tools for document creation, presentations, and data management. Experience managing purchase card holder requirements, ensuring adherence to policies and efficient handling of purchases. For GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
