TRAINING SPECIALIST
Summary You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the Operations Directorate (N3) of CDR STRIKE FORCE TRNG ATLANTIC. Responsibilities You will serve as the organizational subject Matter Expert and point of contact for Fleet Exercise development and coordinator for evolving events and other tactical and operational entities. You will serve as lead scheduler during execution of exercised and operation for all activities current and future operations. You will coordinate and plan conference and meetings. You will track, modify and incorporate all outstanding (overdue) basic phase training into exercise events. You will develop detailed training scheme maneuvers (Time/Speed/Distance) to ensure adequate timing between events. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing schedules, planning events, schemes of maneuvers and replenishment at sea plans to meet individual training requirement; Coordinating ship schedules, attending and planning conferences with groups to meet training exercise needs and requirements; Applying current and emerging warfare tactics to develop complex training events or for military exercises; AND Tracking, modifying, publishing changes to training and updating scheduling events.
