Key responsibilities for this role include:

Assign learning and ensure that all training documentation is accurate, complete, and available for review by direct supervisors, management, external contract providers or regulatory agencies.

Create training outlines for Operations and effectively work with functional department management and or subject matter experts to design, develop and implement compliant courseware and evaluation tools in support of training objectives.

Provide support with the assessment of learning plans to ensure that all training remains current with technical demands and regulatory expectations of each position.

Assist with development and maintenance of job curricula in Learning Management System.

Make recommendations and assists in the development of continuous improvement and/or operational excellence projects for the training program.

Assist site Human Relations with development and maintenance of job descriptions.

Assist site Human Relations with recruitment and onboarding activities, including new hire orientation and training as well as reporting and other related projects.

Serve as time administrator and is responsible for all payroll functions.

Provide employee assistance in matters related to benefits, payroll, etc. to back-up site Human Relations.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 1-2 years of experience.  However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. 

Must possess strong leadership, time-management, and organizational skills.

Must have the skills necessary to analyze a situation, interpret applicable regulations, and determine the best course of action for a given issue.

Must possess effective written communication skills and excellent oral presentation skills.

Must be able to effectively teach and evaluate knowledge transfer to all levels of employees.

Must have strong interpersonal skills including influencing, negotiation, facilitating, and consensus building.

Must possess intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Applications (ie. Word, Excel and PowerPoint).  Knowledge of Kronos timekeeping applications is preferred.

Must have the ability to learn new software applications used for tracking or delivering training (e.g. Plateau Learning and Articulate).

Must be accurate, detail-oriented, approachable, patient, and supportive.

Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
