Job Summary:

The Training Specialist develops content that creates a dynamic and engaging learning experience that supports the needs of the business. This position works with subject matter experts to understand needs and identify appropriate training method options. The Training Specialist will support the creation of classroom and blended curriculums in a high-volume training department. This position will report to the Training Supervisor.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Facilitates curriculum to various levels of employees in both classroom and online setting using various forms of media. Supports all instructor-led training for new and current employees and leaders. Provides training to new employees on systems, policies, and procedures of the department or retrains existing employees on new information or procedures to ensure they remain successful. Facilitates learning programs, meetings, and events to transfer knowledge and prepare leaders within the organization. Designs and develops learning content that includes the use of media and technology to enhance participant experience and transfer of knowledge and skills. Maintains instructor-led course materials. Ensures materials are properly stored and versioned on appropriate communities. Ability to maintain and build strong relationships with the leadership to supply feedback and direction. Performs administrative duties on the Learning Management System, including, but not limited to: scheduling and tracking of instructor-led training, creating materials and videos, managing users, assigning training, reporting, and testing new content.
