As a partner to all of the major automobile manufacturers, as well as key players in the aerospace and industrial sectors, we offer you many development opportunities. **Overview** The Training Specialist will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering training programs and learning activities to support technical training and apprenticeships in the region. This role includes evaluating the effectiveness of these programs and implementing improvements. Additionally, the Training Specialist will focus on enhancing training and development processes for manufacturing employees, contributing to the achievement of the Schaeffler Academy's goals and objectives within the Schaeffler Group. **Your Key Responsibilities** + Designs learning and talent development programs, processes and methods and measures effectiveness to ensure high level of qualification and employability, selects appropriate tools and delivery methods for assigned organizational area and individual employees. + Work with plant management to ensure that Manufacturing training is aligned with HR (Orientation), Quality, Safety, Engineering and Move departments. + Conduct training needs analysis and evaluation as required for the purpose of continuous improvement in existing training activities or to recommend new training initiatives by working with Region plant and HR management team. + Undertake qualification surveys and assessment programs to identify and analyze learning and development gaps and needs. + Develop and continuously improve training presentations and delivery methods as blended learning (computer or web-based training, training videos, digital media, etc.) + Plan and implement measures to support succession planning for critical Jobs and workforce planning. + Plan and organize training and management development programs, and design individual or Job group related short term and long-term qualification measures. + Monitor the quality and effectiveness of measures offered and propose program changes if necessary. + Analyze, design, deliver and evaluate new and existing training courses to meet customer needs integrated with the LMS. + Act as a consultant with internal stakeholders to ensure adult learning principles are met in core business trainings. + Regularly sit, talk, and demonstrate close visual acuity, while frequently using hands to maneuver objects and tools; occasional requirements include walking, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, or crouching, with the ability to regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. **Your Qualifications** Required: + Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Engineering, Training, Human Resources, Education, or a related field + Minimum of two years of direct experience in training and development + Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively influence and communicate the training agenda with internal customers + Preferred skills in eLearning and video production (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia, Microsoft Movie Maker) + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience in classroom settings, on-the-job training facilitation, and virtual training + Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures related to training, development, and adult learning + Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight trips + Proficient in personal computer usage, including advanced skills in MS Office applications (Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Preferred: + Experience in a manufacturing environment As a global company with employees around the world, it is important to us that we treat each other with respect and value all ideas and perspectives.
