Training Support Lead II
XVIII ABC Hub and Spoke MTCs provide individual and collective training on Army Mission Command Systems, using a variety of tools and Army fielded systems. These systems are used to support Small Unit Training for Squads through Company, Medium Unit Training for Battalion through Brigade, and Large Unit Training for Divisions and Corps in training environments in Large Scale Combat Operations (LSCO).

A Contractor employee shall be designated to act for the TSL when work is being performed outside of standard operating hours or during the TSL’s absence. Primary duties consist of performing non-manual work directly related to the general business operations of the MTC Director as detailed in the Statement of Work (SOW) and the MTC Director’s customers, military units. Performance of these duties requires exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance within the framework of the approved Event Lifecycle Management (ELM) or Joint Event Lifecycle (JELC) process. Primary duties also require advanced knowledge and independent decision-making. Work is predominantly intellectual in character and requires the employee to consistently exercise discretion and judgment.
HOW THE TRAINING SUPPORT LEAD II WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Directs and synchronizes Individual and Collective Training activities.Conduct overall management and coordination for all collective, intelligence, and individual training events.Manages the delivery of Mission Command training based on course and exercise plans through coordination with unit and government leadership.Manages the ongoing operations and futures developments of the Training Division.Maintains complete understanding and expert application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards.Responsible for the professional development and certification of subordinate personnel.Responsible for cross branch coordination during Event / Exercise lifecycle management.Responsible for team compliance with GDIT and MTC policies.Supervisory duties such as, approving subordinates’ timecards, tracking GDIT yearly goal progress, approving request for leave, and subordinate execution and development.Supports Unit Commander’s Training Objectives by developing training methods and materials such as curriculum, lectures, and computer-based training aids based on consultation with client / user specifications.Leads the development of TSP training products that include comprehensive operational procedures for an integrated federation of MC systems and simulation / stimulation systems. These products include but are not limited to Programs of Instruction (POI) and Sequences of Instruction (SOI), Capability Documents (CD), Integration Support Documents (ISD) and Event Lifecycle Management (ELM) materials.Coordinates Event / Exercise lifecycle management (planning, preparation, execution and recovery, AAR).Leads consultation with users to design, create, and configure systems to meet their training requirements.Manages the development of training environments that are unique to unit training requirements.Designs the integration of requisite Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming and Mission Command (LVCG+MC) within training environments.Manages the delivery of small, medium and large collective training events / exercises in accordance within the established MTC training program.Leads internal AARs upon completion of trainingSubmits required training reports on timeDirects and monitors the ongoing upgrade/adopt process and execution of Operational Readiness Tests (ORT).Manages efforts to configure, test, validate and document the integration requirements for LVCG+MC capabilities.Provides technical risk mitigation throughout the MTC systems’ architecture by ensuring compliance with configuration management procedural guidance.Provides guidance for training, integration and simulation/stimulation support within the following Functional Areas:

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: BS/BA degreeRequired Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience at the Battalion or higher. Technical Skills:Expert knowledge of and experience with Army constructive models and simulationsDemonstrated experience controlling medium to large unit training events and operations for MTC or similar organizations.Demonstrated experience with military training and training support at the Brigade or higher level.Demonstrated experience in operations and training requirements at Division or higher level.Demonstrated experience executing Mission Command training at battalion command level or higher.Extensive knowledge of virtual training simulators, constructive simulations, and with Army Games for TrainingExpertise with Army Mission command Systems / platforms and systems integrationSecurity Clearance: Current TOP SECRET required.Required Skills and Ability:Graduated the Army Command & General Staff College (CGSC) (to include Intermediate Level Education (ILE) or equivalent level military schooling).Three (3) years of experience in the management of project, program, or site of similar size, scope, and complexityLocation: Fort Liberty NC. Normal work schedule is 0730-1600; may require night or weekend work shifts depending on specific training event requirements. The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
