The Trait Integration and Population Development Specialist is critical to Corteva Agrisciences’ mission to bring innovative seed products to our customers’ farm operations. This position is responsible for genotyping within Trait Integration and Population Development globally. The selected candidate will be part of a network of specialists that execute on the genotyping strategy for multiple crops and population types.
What You will Do:
Engage with a local, cross-functional team to understand the Trait Integration and Population Development processes and deliver high quality populations.Submit Genotyping Jobs to various Corteva laboratories for sampling.Perform Data Analysis on genotyping jobs from various Corteva laboratories.Communicate and collaborate with CRSP staff, Global Genotyping, and the genotyping lead to execute on the genotyping strategy.Provide projections to various laboratories to assist with workload planning.Follow company safety policies, protocols, and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for self and team members.Actively participate in team meetings designed for training and development.What Skills You Need:
Bachelor’s degree related to genetics or agriculture related fields required.Minimum of 3 years of agricultural experience.Basic understanding of genetics.Strong attention to detail in a deadline and quality driven environment.Excellent communication skills, adept at using standard software programs and learning internal software applications.Must be proficient in English.Flexibility to work extended days at critical times of the year.Relocation assistance not offered for this position.VISA Sponsorship is not available for this position.Benefits – How We’ll Support You:
