Responsibilities: • Overall responsible for timely and accurate reconciliation of lockbox postings, check/EFT postings, and journal entries from prior day. • Quickly identify and resolve any discrepancy/variance in the payment postings. • Maintain balancing spreadsheet for reconciliation and variance tracking purposes. • Assists team members in analyzing accounts regarding payment distribution and/or adjustments. • Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements: Experience: One or more years’ experience in a patient accounting or health insurance related area is preferred. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
