**Role and Responsibilities**
The list below details the functions that will be performed by the Transaction Management Specialist within the Transaction Management team
+ Responsible for processing the release and booking of various investment trades in General Accounts’ book of records to ensure the correct balance and integrity of Manulife investment records.
+ Responsible for processing corporate actions such as dividend reinvestments, distributions, etc. that come from various Asia and North America offices, Reconciliations team and Bloomberg vs. General Accounts’ book of records daily reconciliation reports.
+ Does timely communication on any trade or corporate action issues with Manulife local offices and other securities operations sub-teams due to the time sensitive nature of these activities.
+ Investigates possible errors and makes corrections to processed corporate actions that have already been input within documented guidelines.
+ Reviews and monitors various security trade elements and corporate actions for control and integrity to the core investment data and information.
+ Updates multiple financial and reporting related fields on trades, corporate action and investment records as advised.
+ Identify areas of opportunity through analysis and develop recommendations for improvement.
+ Ensure that senders of electronic document instructions are from the approved signature list of Asia and North America offices
+ Monitor the group mailbox and ensure all queries are addressed in a timely manner
+ Maintains adherence to established SOX documentation and controls.
+ Provide support to Toronto office in processing tasks assigned such as seed money, projects, initiatives and other adhoc tasks
**Qualifications**
+ Must be a graduate of any business course preferably Finance or Business Management
+ Candidate must have at least 2-3 years working experience in securities and investment environment
+ Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills
+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across cultures
+ Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
+ Proficient in MS Office applications especially Excel. Knowledge in Macro/VBA is an advantage.
+ Proficiency in Bloomberg/Aladdin, Power BI, PowerApps is a plus
