Manages real-estate account in conjunction with a Top Office Team in Canada and together act as point of contact for clients at Cushman & Wakefield.Job Description
Responsibilities-
· Assist in coordinating the Canada and global real estate account
· Consolidate and track all account activities (Negotiation summaries/RFP comparison matrixes)
· Prepare analyses according to Client protocols including but not limited to, financial & deal structure modeling at all stages of the deal process (from RFP to final lease/sublease negotiations)
· Accountable for and maintain all financial and other Real Estate models
· Assist in preparing select presentations and reports detailing investment recommendations for senior managers, directors, and executives for decision making
· Build and maintain client relationships
· Coordinate with representatives from different service lines (ground brokers, incentives, lease administration, strategic consulting groups, etc.) provided to Client under each assignment(s)
o Coordinate field broker selection process
o Assist with determining client needs and communicate and document project parameters
· Manage all C&W Technology resources for the Services (primarily Transactions Management) provided on each assignment(s).
Oversee the delivery of technology solutions via C&W CoStar & Triana platforms including:
o Co-ordinate training for all team members
o Manage and monitor technology updates for real time reporting
o Manage quality control of data inputs
o Assist with the onboarding of new team members
o Track and report upcoming lease expirations and other critical dates, draft and process all requests for service or client initiation documents, and draft and process all Co-Broker and agent engagement letters
· Present transaction activity to client
· Lead and/or facilitate client meetings
· Provide detailed research and analysis on previous/current leases at request of client to assist in deal structuring and decision-making
· Provide suggestions for process and technical improvements relating to the transaction process
· Assist/support client in completing deal due diligence at the close of a transaction
· Draft and/or review transaction documents (Notices, LOI, Offers, Subleases, Leases, etc.); further provide recommendations to the client
· Coordinate negotiations and management of transactions
· Coordinate legal review of all client leased/owned documents
· Coordinate the collection of all transaction monies (i.e. commissions, funds in trust, etc.)
· Coordinate client site visits/market tours
· Manage and assure accuracy of client rebate account
· Assist in the development of strategic real estate plans,
o Produce and/or support business case development
o Ensure implementation of agreed upon strategy
o Coordinate/ update marketing materials
o Coordinate bi-annual client feedback sessions
· Support other real estate and alternative asset portfolio related duties as assigned
Qualifications
• 5+ years of transaction management/coordination experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related
• Valid real estate license
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
