Transactional Buyer Analyst with German
Key responsibilities Procurement data maintenance (e.g. Country of Origin, etc.) in SAP or SRM system Collection of material specific documents from the suppliers (e.g. Certificates of Origin, Supplier Declarations of Conformity [e.g. for food safety] material safety data sheets, etc.) and formal verification according to customs compliance rules /identification of inconsistencities (depending on document type) Close monitoring of the provision of the requested documents by the suppliers as well as maintaining an structured and up-to-date electronic evidence for specific documents in the SIG customized SAP solution Partners up and maintains constant communication with our suppliers (global/regional) for matters such as collection and/or distribution of specific documents, etc. Responsible for preparation of KPI, data analysis and ad-hoc reports required by stakeholders and/or suppliers etc. and ensures accurate and timely reporting Responsible for initiating the ordering process (E100) for Certificates of Origin (exceptionally charged costs by suppliers) Acts as contact and interface for external suppliers and internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales Department, Quality Department, Food-Safety, Technical Department, Service, Exportcontrol, Customs department, Procurement, Material Planning, Logistics/Warehouse, etc.) Becomes acquainted with and applies correctly the legislation, the general and specific norms in the field of occupational safety and health and the different procedures in accordance with the specific nature of the workplace; Attends the periodical training in the field of occupational safety and health and in the field of the fire prevention and extinction; Carries out his/her activity at the workplace in compliance with the occupational safety and health norms, the fire prevention and extinction norms, the norms of health and individual hygiene at the workplace; Knows the risk factors and the professional diseases specific to the workplace; Identifies the dangers arising at the workplace and reports these dangers to the person competent to take measures, according to the procedures specific to the workplace; Observes the emergency and evacuation procedures and signalises the possible accidents by promptly contacting the corresponding emergency services; Uses correctly the work equipments; Communicates immediately to the employer and/or appointed workers/internal/external department for prevention and protection any labour situation with regard to which he/she has grounded reasons to regard it as a danger for the safety and health of the workers, as well as any deficiency of the protection systems; Notifies to the management of the company and/or the hierarchical superior the accidents suffered by his/her own person; Cooperates with the employer and/or appointed workers/internal/external department for prevention and protection in order to facilitate the accomplishment of any measures or requirements ordered by the labour and sanitary inspectors, for the protection of the workers’ health and safety; Cooperates with the employer and/or appointed workers/internal/external department for prevention and protection in order to allow the employer to make sure that the work environment and the work conditions are safe and without any risks for safety and health, in his/her field of activity; Ensures the provision of information requested by the labour and sanitary inspectors
You bring these skills, experience & education 1-2 years of experience but also open to fresh graduates Fluency in English & intermediate German Experience with Solving Requests, Material Safety data sheets, Preparation of KPI’s Good level of Microsoft Office tools (mainly Excel & Outlook) experience in a commercial environment would be a plus Experience with SAP/another ERP would be a plus Proactive person who has attention to details and good communication skills SIG competencies
