Transactional Finance Specialist
Summary of the Job:
Join us and be part of a brand new and growing team of finance professionals in our centre in Budapest! As Transactional Finance Specialist you will be responsible for providing and completing transactional finance information as part of the European Finance Shared Services Team for Cognizant offices across Continental Europe. Being part of a new team, you will have the opportunity to take part in migration processes and process improvement as well.
Responsibilities:
· Journal preparation and entry
· Preparation of balance sheet, intercompany and bank reconciliations
· Manage Month-End-Close: journal entry, reclassifications, allocations
· Manage working relationships with Finance Onsite, Stock Admin, AP, AR, Bank teams
· Take part in data coordination for internal and external audit
Required Skills:
· Good command of English
· 2-5 years experience in a similar position (e.g. General Ledger, R2R)
· Experience working in a multinational environment
· Microsoft Excel and Word skills
· Knowledge of People Soft or other ERP systems is a plus
· Attention to detail and accuracy
