British American TobaccoCosta Rica has an exciting opportunity for a Transactional Finance Team Lead in Heredia

In this role you will help grow the team, ensure delivery of timely and accurate information for internal teams and stakeholders. Highly motivated and detail oriented to maintain KPI, problem solver and proficient solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Daily Management of the General Ledger/Bank Reconciliations /Fixed Assets Analyst within the Center.Review escalated issues and resolve in a timely manner.Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports as per agreed timeline to allow end markets review and analysis.Oversee general ledger accounts reconciliations within the function and ensure accuracy.Monitor month-end activities ensuring accurately and period is closed as per agreed timetable.Develop, suggest, and implement new procedures to ensure efficiency and effective operation of processes. Communicate with stakeholders by solving issues, providing guidance, and promoting a customer-oriented culture.

What are we looking for?

Student or graduated from Accounting or Accounting & Finance or similar.Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles. Understand the impact of accounting process and practice as well as understanding of relevant financial skills and knowledgeExperience in leadership roles.Fluent in English. Portuguese is a plusAt least 1 year of experience in R2R processes as General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation / Fixed Assets & shared service center experience.
