Overview: We are seeking skilled Transcriptionists to provide accurate and timely transcriptions of interpreted content for M/OAA Industry Liaison-supported events. Transcription services will be required across multiple languages including English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Indonesian, and other languages as needed. The anticipated workload is approximately one hour of transcription per month, equating to around 10,000 words per language, per month.

Key Responsibilities:

Transcription of Interpreted Content: Provide clear and accurate transcriptions of simultaneous or consecutive interpretation from M/OAA Industry Liaison-supported events.Multilingual Support: Transcribe content in various languages including but not limited to English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, and Indonesian.Timely Delivery: Ensure that transcriptions are delivered within the required timeframes and meet USAID's quality standards.Formatting & Accuracy: Maintain consistent formatting, grammar, and spelling accuracy throughout the transcriptions, ensuring clear and precise documentation.Collaboration with Interpreters: Work closely with interpreters to ensure transcription accuracy and clarification when needed. Qualifications:

Proficiency in Transcription: Minimum of 2 years of experience in transcription, particularly of interpreted or multilingual content.Language Skills: Fluency in one or more languages, including English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, or Indonesian.Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail to ensure transcription accuracy, particularly in capturing nuances of interpretation.Time Management: Ability to manage multiple transcription projects and deliver on time.

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience transcribing content for government or international organizations is a strong advantage.Familiarity with transcription software or tools to enhance workflow and efficiency.
