Overall Accountabilities: The Manager is responsible for oversight of the day to day operations. This includes but not limited to
The Manager will manage an Offshore team focused on core functions: Processing; Quality Control and Problem Resolution. This may include multiple direct manager reports.Managing client escalations from Client and providing support to the Management team; ensures that all client operational transactions are handled accurately, timely and in compliance within Service Level Agreements and in accordance with company policies and industry guidelines.The Manager is accountable for managing multiple teams, or equivalently, complex client models with a primary focus on building internal/external relationships; risk mitigation; efficiency, fostering a positive work environment while maintaining exceptional customer service levels and quality standards.The Manager will be the primary escalation contact for the Client management team and be accountable for the day-to-day operational relationship.The Manager will work closely with all primary stakeholders; Business Operations; Workforce Management; Business Readiness; Learning & Development and other teams within the organization. The incumbent must possess strong knowledge of all areas surrounding their core teams and functions.Drive process improvement changes and contribute toward executing on key strategic initiatives.Skills and Competencies
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Mutual Fund industry and in management rolePost-secondary education or equivalent Transfer Agency / Back office operations experienceExcellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead and work as part of a cohesive teamExemplary client focus in determining, managing and meeting client expectationsUnderstands the business impact of escalated incidents/issues and service requestsAbility to organize work in order to accomplish multiple and changing priorities within specified timeframesAble to coordinate and operate in stressful situations in resolving the client’s issuesAbility to see the bigger picture; how various processes, workflows, teams come togetherExcellent knowledge Transfer Agency operations business processesResults oriented – Strives to achieve high levels of individual and organizational performanceDecision Maker – Ability to weigh risk versus reward and keep risk at minimum through critical thinkingIn-depth knowledge of iFAST and Chorus BPM system considered an assetStrong research / information gathering / analytical and problem-solving skills - takes a logical approach to analyzing problems.
