**Job Summary**
The Transfer Application Supervisor processes and evaluates first-year and transfer applications each year. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Processing and Credit Evaluation, the Transfer Application Supervisor leads transfer application completion processes. The position requires a thorough understanding and knowledge of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions processes and workflows. Additionally, the supervisor must be proficient in navigating multiple technological systems used to facilitate the work, specifically PeopleSoft Student Information System, Slate Customer Relations Management tool, and Perceptive Content imaging software.

Reporting to the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Office of Enrollment Management (OEM) manages U-M's enrollment function to efficiently optimize students' experiences throughout their engagement, from prospect to alumni. The division collaborates with campus partners, faculty, and staff, in support of the university's mission and commitment to academic quality, accessibility, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
OEM comprises a dedicated team of more than 200 full-time staff members, and up to 400 additional student and temporary staff and is structured in five operational units - the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, the Office of Financial Aid, the Office of New Student Programs, the Office of the Registrar, and OEM Administration. OEM strives to provide excellence in access and support to diverse and inspiring learners who will challenge the present and enrich the future.
**Responsibilities***
+ Manage the transfer application completion process including communicating office goals and productivity expectations, delegating work across the team, scheduling and implementing the training for new team members, and resolving issues. Respond to and resolve questions related to the daily work from the staff.
+ Responsible for training temporary staff members on transfer application completion procedures.
+ Respond to office and campus-wide inquires related to transfer applications.
+ Provide ongoing training for tasks and processes.
+ Complete yearly staff assessments.
+ Complete random daily checks of completed work to assure team members are meeting established quality levels. Help retrain and resolve staff issues.
+ Document issues and concerns based on daily quality checks.
+ Create and refine procedure manuals for new and returning staff; assure most up-to-date processes and efficient models are being used.
+ Resolve workflow processing errors on application documents.
+ Perform general data control, document management, and clerical functions following the Office of Undergraduate Admissions procedures. Use and navigate multiple technologies to manage the processing of transfer applications.
+ Send and track email communications to transfer applicants, as it relates to issues with their application documents.
+ Help with other responsibilities as assigned.
**Required Qualifications***
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
+ One year of supervisory experience
+ The ability to organize complex information.
+ Microsoft Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and Google Workspace experience
+ Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a high-volume work environment.
**Desired Qualifications***
+ Two years of experience in a production-oriented office.
+ Prior experience with the evaluation of transfer credit.
+ Experience working with customer relations management (CRM) tools, such as Slate.
+ Experience working within student database systems, such as PeopleSoft.
+ Experience handling the routing of materials/data through complex workflows.
**Modes of Work**

The Office of Enrollment Management requires a hybrid work arrangement of minimally three days on-site and two remote days. Thursdays are required as an on-site work day for all members of the OEM team.
