Make your mark for patients
To strengthen our Group Accounting, Tax, and Treasury team, based at our headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, or in Warsaw, Poland, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of Transfer Pricing Manager.
The role involves responsibility for all transfer pricing matters within UCB Group and is overseen by the Transfer Pricing Director. This includes compliance (such as transfer pricing documentation and transfer pricing setting) and support to the Transfer Pricing Director for strategic planning projects. It also involves providing support in case of tax audits or litigation (cf. the PACE framework – Planning, Accounting, Compliance & Examination).
The Transfer Pricing Manager role ensures that intercompany transactions align with global transfer pricing policies, regulatory compliance, and business objectives. The Transfer Pricing Manager will support accurate financial reporting and compliance and will contribute with insights to tax & financial teams.
The Transfer Pricing Manager will be coached to grow over time into a strategic role in case this fits with professional ambitions of the manager.
What you’ll do
Operate and improve UCB’s Global Transfer Pricing Documentation Strategy, working closely with finance managers to drive processes optimally.Review compliance of intercompany transactions within the UCB Group with global transfer pricing regulations and internal policies, leveraging technology improvements.Manage and support the preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation across all relevant regions in collaboration with a Big4 firm.Collaborate with external advisors and regulatory authorities to ensure adherence to local and international tax laws.Support strategic insights into business initiatives and expansions, ensuring tax efficiency and compliance,Support transfer pricing audits, tax audits across Europe, and inquiries, provide expert advice, and assist with communications with tax authorities in various regions.
Interested? Here's What We're Looking for
Master's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Law.At least 3-4 years of relevant professional experience within a Big 4 firm, a large accounting firm, or a multinational enterprise.Strong understanding of OECD/International transfer pricing guidelines and BEPS.Strong financial analysis skills to interpret complex data and ensure compliance.Effective in fast-paced, changing environments while maintaining high-quality results under pressure.Collaborative team player with strong communication skills, able to work effectively across multicultural, cross-functional teams and with external consulting firms.
