WTW is seeking a Manager, Transfer Pricing Planning to be part of WTW’s transfer pricing team. The team is part of a world class tax department that engages in global tax planning, transfer pricing, tax reporting, and tax audit defense for the company. The TP team works closely with the Finance organization and Business teams around the world to ensure that WTW’s transfer pricing align with our business operations and objectives.
The Transfer Pricing Planning Manager will report to the Associate Director of Transfer Pricing Planning and be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing transfer pricing planning and other projects related to WTW’s value chain and business operations.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and implement transfer pricing planning projects Collaborate and partner closely with WTW’s Business, including the Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and Operations functions, by providing transfer pricing advice to aid the company’s business decisions Partner with WTW’s Tax Reporting function to ensure that intercompany transactions and transfer pricing projects are properly reflected in WTW’s financial reporting. Preparation of financial models and other TP deliverables Partner with other finance functions to ensure accurate TP results, resulting from US GAAP and local statutory legal Entity deep dive/review processes Collaborate with Legal, Tax, and business functions to ensure appropriate intercompany agreements are in place to document intercompany relationships and transactions Review and comment on various external business agreements from a transfer pricing perspective Provide transfer pricing support on M&A and internal restructuring transactions including quantitative analysis of transfer pricing impact in alternative transaction scenarios;Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of transfer pricing experience with Big Four accounting firm, law firm, or large multinational corporationFluent in EnglishStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate complex transfer pricing concepts and analyses in a simple, straight-forward manner Strong project management skills, including experience leading significant cross-functional tax planning and/or transfer pricing projects and managing associated third-party advisorsAdvanced knowledge of Excel and WordProven ability to prioritize activities and manage workload in a complex fast-paced environment with attention to detail and focus on time-critical actionsStrong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and research skillsAbility to adapt to change and work independently as well as collaborate cross-functionallyCPA or advanced degree preferred
