Transformation Leader

Reporting directly to the Site Transformation Manager, you’ll collaborate across all levels of the organization to enhance and implement J. Crew’s transformation strategy at our Lynchburg, VA distribution center. Together, we’ll strengthen our army of problem solvers, streamline processes and catapult customer satisfaction to new heights!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Transformation Deployment: Collaborate with business leaders on change management processes for optimal team member engagement.
· Lean Coaching: Assess and address lean expertise gaps across the organization with guidance from seasoned transformation leaders.
· Co-facilitation of Events: Support the prep, execution, and follow-up of continuous improvement events, ensuring success through open communication and structured problem solving.
· Management for Daily Improvement (MDI): Coach operational huddles for daily, incremental improvement, advise on readiness boards, standard work, problem-solving methods, and issue escalation processes.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
· Ability to collaborate and lead in a matrixed environment (dotted-line reporting).
· Medium proficiency in lean tools and techniques, including A3 Problem Solving, 6S, JIT, Kanban, and Six Sigma Methodology (DMAIC / DMADV).
· Strong communication, organization and conflict management skills to support the facilitation of continuous improvement events, including Strategic Planning, Value Stream Analysis (VSA), Rapid Improvement (RIE), and Kaizen.
· Action-oriented; takes on new opportunities with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm.
· Dynamic; exercises good judgment and can proactively manage up where appropriate.
· Accountable; establishes ambitious, measurable goals, monitors progress, and adjusts course as needed.
· Strong organizational skills for self and team.
· Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ years' experience in a related field OR 3+ years’ experience without a degree required.
· Proven track record of utilizing critical thinking and analytical skills in a collaborative environment to deliver measurable results.
