Transformation Program Director

The Transformation Program Director is responsible for successfully planning and coordinating the execution of either specific projects or programs of projects that support and drive JLL’s strategic transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

Create an overall transformation plan for a project, including dependencies between workstreamsProduce all critical project management deliverables including initial business case, project charter, project and program plans, status reports, and executive summary presentationsProvide a governance structure and monitor progress across workstreams within a project and facilitate status updatesProactively identify risks and issues, suggest mitigation and follow up implementation of remediation actionsAssess actual performance against the project plan and make adjustments/ escalate variance from plans as neededEnsure consistent project management tools and templates are used across the transformation and enable workstream leads to be successful in using themProvide ad hoc project management support to project initiatives as requiredProvide regular updates on status and progress of projects to the Enterprise Transformation TeamIdentify dependencies between the project and other projects/activities and outline actions to appropriately manage themEnsure key stakeholders are being engaged in a suitable manner thought out the project life cycle

The CandidateThe successful candidate will have a strong combination of project management and stakeholder management skills with extensive experience in program management tools and methodology.  A logical, structured approach to problem-solving and common sense are key.
 

Experience

Extensive project/program management experience in a professional organizationSignificant experience in project management methodologiesExperience working in virtual teams in global organizations of a similar size to JLLCoach senior leaders and stakeholders with limited project management experienceProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and project management tools like Project and SmartsheetExperience with change management methodology preferredExperience in creating target operating models, developing strategy, identifying as-is and to-be processes, and a base understanding of organizational design preferred   Understanding of or exposure to global real estate markets preferredRecognized Project Management qualification (PMP, APM, Prince 2, Agile PM, other) preferredSkillsCollaborative team player who lends a positive and proactive approach to project deliveryTop-notch project management skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control project delivery responsibilities to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting prioritiesKnows how to effectively structure, staff, and manage projects and teams to ensure there is clarity of expectation, timely execution, corrective action when needed, and successful outcomesAbility to perform root cause analysis on issues encountered during project delivery and devise course correction and ‘get to green’ plansPresentation skills to effectively present project delivery information to an audience of varying responsibility, seniority, and knowledge about project management methodologiesVery high emotional quotient, able to build strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholdersFlexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situationsResilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevereCritical thinker with a strong intellectual curiosity who is willing to take risks and address conflicting points of view
