Job Description & Summary

Our transformation risk and advisory practice focuses on assisting clients that are going through large transformations ($100 Mil - $5 bil) by providing services that cover transformation strategy, transformation risk management, transformation program management or other related services. The core focus of this team is to work with clients that are going through large transformation programs and help them make these programs successful. We bring an integrated people, process and technology approach to these projects and support the client from “strategy to execution” with their transformation program.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of 

As a Transformation Risk & Advisory, Program Management Office, Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

Support in the design and implementation of transformation program governance and program management strategies 

Assist in providing leading practice program management services, such as integrated planning, risk and issue management, decision management, performance analysis and reporting, quality management, assurance management, benefits realization, etc. 

Supporting the design and set up for PMO support and team in delivering large scale transformation programs as a program management advisor 

Work with the team to create meaningful content and present to senior program leadership within large scale transformation programs (e.g. $100M+)

Support development of responses to client request for proposals (RFPs) 

Support team in building the Transformation Risk Advisory practice by rolling out initiatives to help mature the operations and offerings 

Analyze and use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations 

Develop a perspective on key global and technology trends and how they impact our firm and clients 

Be open to a variety of viewpoints to build consensus, collaborating with diverse teams, and ensure that diverse perspectives are encouraged and heard with a focus on creating positive outcomes for all parties

Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct 

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve  

Hands on experience in supporting teams delivering program management for large transformation programs 

Proven experience managing projects and / or supporting implementations of large complex system/transformation initiatives 

Understanding of setting up Program Management Offices and rolling out the necessary governance and operational processes to manage the program

Prior consulting experience and an understanding of how consulting organizations work

Highly competent in supporting project assessments, health checks and program gateway reviews 

Ability to support development of concise and impactful client reports and proposals

Understanding of core project management process areas (including IT governance, quality assurance, and SDLC), project management software/tools, and ERP and/or industry specific applications 

Exceptional commitment to providing excellent client service, by building and maintaining productive relationships with both internal and external clients

Advanced analytical, problem solving and multitasking, and project management skills

Certifications in leading Project, Program and/or Risk management frameworks and methodologies such as Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, Management of Risk (MoR), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) would be preferred

PwC BC Region Pay Range Information   

The salary range* for this position is $65,600 - $109,300, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills, experience, qualifications and geographic location.   

*Please note that the salary range for this position is reflected for our British Columbia region.  Given our national recruiting approach, we recruit (and may hire) in other regions and therefore the salary range may differ depending on the work location.   PwC is committed to competitive compensation and sharing salary ranges in accordance with applicable pay transparency legislation as they arise.
