Transformation Strategist – Public Sector & Utilities (SME, Mid)

Role: Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Organizational Transformation Consultant to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements for a large public utility client. This role will contribute to organizational assessments, business process optimization, and the development of actionable recommendations that enhance efficiency, performance, and service delivery. The ideal candidate will bring analytical expertise, cross-functional collaboration skills, and a strong understanding of public sector operations and change management frameworks. Responsibilities: Define systemic or specific organizational challenges and develop solutions aligned with client goals Conduct in-depth analysis and evaluations to inform transformation strategies Support the development of implementation plans, system specifications, and program requirements Coordinate technical assessments and facilitate cross-functional collaboration Develop recommendations and best practices in areas such as IT, utility services, public administration, or other client-specified disciplines Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings to communicate findings and guide decision-making Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline Seven (7) years of experience in a subject matter specialty area Five (5) years of hands-on or analytical experience in an IT-related role Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills Ability to work independently and in collaboration with senior stakeholders Preferred/Nice to Have Skills: Master’s degree in a related technical or scientific field (counts toward 1 year specialized and 2 years general experience) Experience supporting public utilities, municipal governments, or infrastructure transformation projects Clearance: The ability to pass a background check is required.
