Job Summary:
The Transformation Visual Presentations Intern will bring strong organizational and communication skills to help develop and deliver impactful programs that will accelerate Acrisure’s strategic initiatives. This position reports into the Change Management & Engagement team that focuses on the people side of change. Our goal is to accelerate the realization of Acrisure’s vision by mobilizing and aligning resources, driving clarity of plans, mitigating risk, and equipping leaders to achieve business objectives while fostering a high-performance culture committed to succeeding and winning together.
We are seeking a Presentation and Visual Design Intern to assist with creating dynamic, professional, and visually compelling presentations for the Change Management team and the Transformation Office. As part of this team, you will work closely with the Chief Transformation Office and senior executives to bring presentations to life and translate data into a compelling narrative. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about design, communication, and storytelling through visual mediums.
Responsibilities:
PowerPoint Design: Create visually engaging and professional PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate ideas and messages.
Brand Consistency: Ensure presentations are aligned with company branding guidelines, ensuring cohesive design and presentation style across all materials.
Visual Storytelling: Help translate complex data, reports, and concepts into clear, visually compelling slides that support the communication of key messages.
Content Integration: Integrate multimedia content such as images, videos, and infographics to create presentations that are both informative and visually striking.
Template Design: Assist in the creation and maintenance of job aids, playbooks, PowerPoint templates for use across the Transformation Office.
Collaborative Design Process: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative concepts, solicit feedback, and refine designs to ensure they meet business goals and brand expectations.
Support Ad-hoc Projects: Assist the team with additional creative tasks as needed, including the preparation of marketing and internal communication materials.
Requirements:
Strong speaking and facilitation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
Able to work full time throughout the summer and minimum of 15 hours during the school year.
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Visual Arts, or a related field. Must have completed at least two years of upper-level education.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint: Strong understanding of PowerPoint tools, including slide layouts, animation, transitions, and overall design best practices.
Open-minded with a strong desire to learn through feedback and revisions.
Ability to communicate well across multiple functional areas and stakeholders at all levels.
Design Software Skills: Familiarity with design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft SharePoint or Canva is a plus.
Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and design innovative, visually appealing presentations that communicate effectively.
Attention to Detail: Excellent eye for detail and a passion for creating clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing slides.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, including senior leaders.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your design work, especially any PowerPoint presentations or visual content, is highly preferred.
