Transformational Gift Officer
**Job Type:** Regular **Time Type:** Full time **Work Shift:** Day (United States of America) **FLSA Status:** Exempt **When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.** The Transformational Gifts Officer will support Beth Israel Lahey Health’s (BILH) Transformational Gift program through coordination of the development of strategic prospect plans and detailed briefings for faculty and leadership; as well as the coordination of compelling donor materials that inspire transformational gifts. This role will closely liaise across internal Philanthropy business units, including Prospect Research, Philanthropy Communications, Donor Relations, and other key functions. Additionally, the incumbent will coordinate activity beyond Philanthropy with activities such as convening all relevant participants to a transformational gift strategy, developing agendas and materials for meetings, and driving forward the established strategy through solid project management. The Transformational Gift Strategy Officer will work closely with both BILH and Philanthropy senior leadership, faculty leadership, program managers, and development officers collaborating extensively with key internal teams to ensure a seamless donor experience. **Job Description:** **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** including but not limited to: 1. Assist with the development of customized prospect strategy plans in partnership with philanthropy leadership, focusing on alignment with organizational priorities and donor interests. 2. Create detailed briefing materials and preparatory documents for leadership and relevant others. 3. Along with Vice President, Institutional Giving and Transformational Gift Strategy, assist in crafting presentations, proposals, and reports for potential transformational gift donors, translating complex program goals into accessible, impactful narratives. 4. Gather and synthesize data, financial information, and program details from internal teams to incorporate into donor-focused communications. 5. Act as a strategic liaison with donor relations and stewardship teams to ensure consistency and accuracy across all transformational giving communications. 6. Maintain an organized library of briefings, strategy plans, and proposal templates for use across the transformational giving team. 7. Support development officers in identifying key insights and aligning donor communications with broader philanthropic strategies. 8. Contribute to post-gift reporting and acknowledgment processes as needed to ensure follow-through on donor engagement plans. **Minimum Qualifications:** **Education:** Bachelor's degree required **Licensure, Certification & Registration:** N/A **Experience:** • 3-5 years of related work experience required. • Experience in project management, strategy development, and philanthropy-focused briefings, case studies and proposals, ideally within a nonprofit or healthcare setting. **Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:** • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into donor-centric language. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with excellent attention to detail. • Collaborative mindset, with experience working cross-functionally, particularly with donor relations and stewardship teams. • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with CRM or donor management software preferred. **Preferred Qualifications & Skills:** N/A **Dept./Unit-Specific Skills:** N/A **As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
