If this is your time to make a difference in your community, submit your resume and see what opportunities are available today! Responsibilities: Maintains knowledge of all regulatory standards related to Transfusion MedicineCompletes, verifies and reports testing in timely manner. Stewards Transfusion Medicine resources and practices Lean MethodologyAssists peers and supervisors with tasks after completion of assigned work.Assists in the development of laboratory personnel and tests, to enhance laboratory functions.Actively participates in training students, employees and fellows.Assist Transfusion leadership with new equipment/test validation as assignedValidates database for new software or new tests implemented in the laboratory.Analyzes and evaluates patient results correctly and appropriately.
 Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a related science field or Molecular Genetic Technology.Successful completion of a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS) accredited Clinical Laboratory Science/Molecular Genetic Technology program.Master's Degree or Doctorate in a related science field is preferredMLS or BB-ASCP CertificationSBB – Specialist in Blood Banking Certification8 years of clinical laboratory compliance and operations experience, including 3 years of blood banking and 3 years of lead or supervisory experience, with a bachelor’s degree.OR 6 years of clinical laboratory compliance and operations experience, including 3 years of blood banking and 3 years of lead or supervisory experience, with a Master's Degree.OR 4 years of clinical laboratory compliance and operations experience, including 3 years of blood banking and 3 years of lead or supervisory experience, with a Doctorate degree.Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate and/or LEADing Self Discover programs may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience.
