Position Summary
Responsible for managing a range of transportation and transit facilities capital projects and related planning, design and delivery.
We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and quality-oriented Architect or Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience who is interested in managing transportation and transit facilities projects. The successful candidate should be comfortable working with internal and external clients, demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, and possess the ability to manage multiple projects and assignments at one time.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Serve as Project Manager for the management of multi-discipline design teams planning and designing transportation, transit and other related facilities for state and local agencies Develop and ensures that project design scope, budgets and schedules are maintained, and project milestones are met Oversee drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and calculations to ensure compliance with design standards and intent Oversee preparation and documentation for facility feasibility studies, planning studies, and site studies Provide technical leadership and drive resolution for project designs and coordination Oversee quality assurance for meeting design criteria and regulatory requirements Supervise and mentor staff Work with engineers, architects, owner staff, and others to investigate and resolve facility issues Prepare and presents studies and reports Development of extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposals Coordinate and assist Section Heads, Office Leaders, and Practice Leaders with marketing proposals
