**Koniag Data Solutions (KDS),** a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Transition Coordinator to support **KDS** and our government customer. **This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.**

**Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:**
+ Provide support for the end-to-end transition of new or changed digital, data and technology services into or out of operational service support with minimum disruption and impact to users or the digital, data and technology service.
+ Provide administrative support and enable the operations of the Change Advisory Board
+ (CAB) and its ability to ensure that technical changes to digital, data and technology services are adequately assessed for impact, prioritised, scheduled, authorised, and implemented, in line with processes and appropriate tools.
+ Support service transition process management to ensure adequate risk assessment and scheduling of technical changes and releases including those originating from programmes and projects and maintain the integrity of the configuration management database and the access, security, configuration of change activities and release procedures.
+ Manage service transition into operational support, utilising agreed service transition processes and governance, process automation, assuring transitional activity and ensuring excellent customer service.
**Responsibilities**
+ Provide support for the management of the service transition activities into and out of operational service support including providing advice and guidance regarding governance and control to programs and projects in the transition of the new or changed services into steady state operation in a timely and reliable way.
+ Apply the service transition governance framework to assure the provision of quality products and services that meet business needs and are delivered to agreed SLAs, OKRs and KPls.
+ Contribute to the planning of integrated and sequenced service transition deliveries as part of an agile delivery cycle or traditional delivery lifecycle ensuring change impact and people readiness state are understood to ensure the delivery of agreed business objectives.
+ Provide support for products and services transitions enabling the escalation and resolution of service transition management issues, removal of blockers, and management of risks, issues, and dependencies; ensuring programs and projects are held accountable and responsible for business and operational readiness.
+ Participate and facilitate service transition meetings including operational readiness reviews and go/no go meetings with program and project teams, suppliers, and internal teams; highlight risks and issues relating to the deployment of the new/changed services and ensure these are owned by the program/project and mitigation plans are produced.
+ Work with service managers to drive the interaction and integration of service operations processes and the service to which they apply, ensuring effective service delivery.
+ Maintaining and monitoring the progress of any service transaction: change, configuration, test, release & deployment of any associated service asset ensuring that business needs are met, and any contractual obligations can be delivered in line with agreed SLAs, OKRs and KPls.
+ Support our delivery functions, strategic 3rd party provider and service delivery partners in ensuring residual program and project risks are sufficiently resolved or transferred to Service Ownership before the closure of projects.
**Skills and qualifications**
+ Experience working in high-pressure service transition teams with strong change, release and service asset & configuration management experience. Experience in service introduction and working with program and projects to minimize user impact or disruption when introducing new or changed services.
+ Experience in service management, collating management information that is appropriate, concise, and easy to understand. Keen attention to detail
+ Strong interpersonal skills
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Professional qualification relevant to the area or educated to bachelor's degree level, or equivalent experience, with evidence of continuing professional development, Professional or industry foundation certification.
