This unique role within a well-established and reputable Melbourne based construction team, offers the opportunity to develop your commercial edge, focusing on the delivery of notable projects whilst understanding the value and process of schemes through the builder’s lens. Bringing your technical architectural experience, you can support a Project Manager across the construction phases, contributing to shop drawing management, RFI management, technical management and design resolution at site level.  
You must combine your technical expertise with your keen and detailed design eye, and a confident problem-solving mindset to the full design process. Key Responsibilities Report to Project Manager, leading the technical delivery and development of institutional projects across unique, local sites  See the construction process from start to finish Be across shop drawing, RFI and technical management on schemes Manage on-site design resolution Complete administrative tasks like budgeting, scheduling and programming Build exceptional relationships across project teams, to ensure seamless communication and outcomes of projects Co-ordinate multi-disciplinary teams Ongoing interrogation and assessment of risks and opportunities required for improving construction outcomesSkills and Experience Architectural or related qualifications 7+years post-grad experience, across a variety of contracts, from start to finish Demonstrated experience across similar and a variety of project typologies, $10-40M construction value are favourable Exceptional technical knowledge and a passion for delivery and construction phases A clear communicator, with the ability to foster relationships across the whole design team Confident in decision making, problem solving and deliverables Detailed eye and process driven approach to project work Outstanding aptitude for learning and developing skillsetBenefits and Culture  A permanent, career advancing position, builder's side Join a dedicated team to aid the transition of architectural skills into construction Pathways to seniority - Engineering/ Project Management A company that prides itself on being long term employers, with fantastic job security - pipeline has gone from strength to strength Strong cultural and social offering
