Palladium is the Managing Contractor for the Australian Government’s Humanitarian Logistics Capability (HLC). The objective of the Humanitarian Logistics Capability is to facilitate the timely, effective and flexible delivery of the Australian Government’s humanitarian assistance and emergency relief program around the world.
About the Role
Palladium is seeking an exceptional Transition Manager to lead the transition between the Humanitarian Logistics Capability (HLC) Phase I and Phase II programs. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth transition of personnel, finance, and all aspects of project operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the HLC Team Leader/Director and will be accountable for leading the transition process, providing technical and project management expertise, and ensuring clear communication and a productive team environment. This is a fixed term contract expected to run through until September 2025, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the transition between programs, providing technical and project management inputs and expertise, taking accountability for meeting Transition Phase objectives and delivering value.
· Develop and implement the Transition Plan, monitoring progress across the HLC Team, ensuring transition safety, security and safeguarding processes and documentation.
· Manage the transition of all other project operations, including warehouse stock, asset register, lease agreements, IT, MIS, SharePoint Files, and communication with partners and suppliers.
· Ensure compliance with Palladium policies, guidelines, SOPs, and DFAT’s policies and contractual requirements.
· Provide regular progress reports to internal stakeholders and DFAT.
Reporting Requirements:
· Regular reporting to the HLC Team Leader/Director, Contractor Representative and DFAT on Transition Phase progress.
Work Environment:

What We Are Looking For:
Our ideal candidate will have significant relevant work experience, preferably within a consulting or project management environment. You will possess highly developed organisational skills, agility, and the ability to balance and prioritise multiple tasks while working well under pressure.
Excellent technical/business writing skills and strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role, as well as highly developed financial and commercial acumen.
You will also be able to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including at senior leadership levels. Additionally, a demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, particularly in a multicultural environment, is highly valued.
